The Maple Leaf Ball, 9th May 2024

The Maple Leaf Trust is the home for Canadian philanthropy in the UK, supporting several fantastic charities: The Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund, The Canada-UK Foundation, The Canadian Memorial Foundation and The Terry Fox Run UK.

The evening will open with a champagne reception, sponsored by our Platinum event sponsor, CIBC, in the beautiful John Madejski Garden.  Guests will enjoy the ambience of live performances from CCSF Scholars Spencer Klymyshyn and Juliana Cook whilst sipping on Hinterland Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine. We will then move through the museum at dusk to the impressive Raphael Gallery. Here guests will enjoy a gourmet meal paired with Norman Hardie Canadian wines. The evening will be hosted by the wonderful Lisa LaFlamme

 There are three ways guests can give during the evening:

- Buy a raffle ticket. We have an amazing raffle where guests could also win Air Canada business class tickets, a diamond necklace from Anglo American and a fabulous dinner for two at Pavyllon.

- Donate during the Pledge Drive. You could win a bottle of champagne for your table!

- Buy an auction prize. Throughout the night there will be a live and silent auction featuring a print kindly donated by Edward Burtynsky from his latest exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery with a whole host of “money can’t buy” prizes and experiences, this is not to be missed.

 The party will then continue in the Dome were there will be an exclusive and intimate performance from Canadian superstar, Jann Arden. Here guests will also be able to sample Black Fox Farm Whisky & Gin, Canadian wines, courtesy of Fairview Wines, Molson Canadian and Quebec’s Pur Vodka. The evening will draw to close with dancing under the Dome.
